Senior Trainer and Advisor for Eyelid Corrections
Dr. Hub Swerts is a specialist in cosmetic treatments such as eyelid corrections, Botox, and fillers. He is a member of the NVCG and NVVCC and is KNMG registered. Dr. Hub Swerts founded De Beaufort in Maastricht in 2006. Based on the number of eyelid corrections performed, Dr. Hub Swerts is one of the leading experts in the Netherlands in this field.
At The Body Clinic, Dr. Hub Swerts serves as senior trainer and quality advisor for eyelid corrections. Our physicians will be trained and advised by him in performing upper eyelid corrections. Dr. Hub Swerts will no longer treat clients himself.
From 1989 to 2019, Dr. Hub Swerts practiced as a general practitioner in Meerssen. Since 2003, he has specialized in cosmetic medicine and has been an active member of the NVCG since 2005. In 2019, he stopped his general practice to fully focus on cosmetic treatments, particularly upper eyelid corrections, as a KNMG physician. In 2025, Dr. Hub Swerts retired from performing eyelid corrections and now supports younger physicians with training and advice.

Dr. Mirthe van der Putten is a KNMG-registered cosmetic physician and serves as the medical director at The Body Clinic. Mirthe has over six years of experience in surgery and plastic surgery. Through this experience, she has gained extensive knowledge and expertise in surgical procedures, which contribute to her exceptional skills in aesthetics.
Mirthe also trains other physicians for Galderma, one of the world's largest suppliers of injectables, known for brands like Restylane and Azzalure. Hugo Ammerlaan is a KNMG-registered cosmetic physician and works at various locations of The Body Clinic.
After completing his medical studies at the University of Leuven in 2015, Hugo further specialized in plastic surgery at hospitals in Apeldoorn and Nijmegen. His interest primarily focused on cosmetic surgery, particularly the goal-oriented and practical approach it entails.
